Trained in Rishikesh, India which included a ten day Vipassana, Sandra left incredibly inspired to share the magic of the practice, particularly its impacts on the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual bodies.
"Yoga brings me peace and I like to teach others how they can bring peace in for themselves. I have alot of gratitude for the yoga asanas, but I believe the secret sauce of yoga is in the pranayama, meditations and philosophy. When I'm teaching, I try my best to integrate as much of the eight limbs of yoga, as appropriate."
"That's what I'm here for, to help restore the balance, that's what I choose to do. Namaste."

Born and raised in Sudbury Ontario my introduction to yoga began 10 years ago, as a way to balance my busy academic life. I am grateful to the talented yoga instructors in Sudbury who fostered my passion for yoga and introduced me to its philosophy. Yoga gave me confidence and mindfulness, and now I teach to share the joy of meditative movement. I hope to spark creativity and connection for students at A Space to Breathe, in the way that my favourite yoga teachers did for me.
